Free Comic Book Day at Dragon's Lair
Dragon’s Lair Comic & Fantasy will once again host the annual Free Comic Book Day event. Free Comic Book Day is the biggest event in the comic book industry—a single day when participating comic book specialty shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their shops! Founded on the belief that for every person out there, there’s a comic book they’ll love, the annual event offers a huge selection of free titles designed to appeal to a broad range of age levels and their tastes.
David Wheeler, the Founder and Franchisor of the Dragon's Lair Comics & Fantasy® stores stated that, "Free Comic Book Day is one of the most exciting and fun days of the year! Every year tens of thousands of happy people visit stores all over the country and many of them visit our stores to get great comics for free and experience the joy of comic books!"
Dragon’s Lair Austin and Dragon’s Lair San Marcos will start giving away comics Saturday, May 3 when the stores open at 10:00am and will continue until they run out. Stores have a limited supply of titles, so if you are looking for something specific, get there early.
