Sarah Barlow’s Debut Blues Album Release at Antone’s Nightclub

Austin, TX – December 21, 2025 – Austin, Texas artist Sarah Barlow announces her debut blues album on her independent label Texas Blues Archive, with an album release show at Antone’s Nightclub in Austin, Texas. Recorded with Grammy-winning producer/engineer Stuart Sullivan at Wire Recording in Austin, the full length album showcases Sarah Barlow’s original songs with her Texas Blues Revue, including Johnny Moeller, Red Young, Matt Adams of The Blank Tapes, Robert Parker Jr., Gian Ortiz, and Damien Llanes.
Sunday’s show will feature the full album lineup including special guests, with Kathy and the Kilowatts opening at 7pm and Sarah Barlow performing at 8pm. Tickets available at the door or in advance on the Antone’s website.

Sarah pays tribute to the blues and rock and roll artists of the past who influence her songwriting and artistic direction. Images of Roadside Americana, neon signs, roadtripping along Route 66, vintage Vegas and Hollywood all play into her vision of a psychedelic-cabaret meets traditional blues. Sarah’s music delivers a classic sound with a modern edge to new audiences. The album includes her first single release “Cinderella Blues,” a John Lee Hooker/ZZ Top-inspired track along with original songs that showcase Sarah’s vocals in the style of Antone’s Women Lou Ann Barton, Angela Strehli, and Miss Lavelle White.
"This album is a long time coming," says Barlow. "Cinderella Blues” and my other new songs are an expression of my experiences as a woman and the challenges I’ve faced as a musician. For over twenty years, I’ve been honing my craft as an artist. I’ve been playing all the roles from songwriting, performing, producing, booking, promoting, touring and raising funds to make my album a reality. What started back in 2005 with my mentor Clifford Antone, is finally happening. I’m honored to be working with Stuart Sullivan, who recorded many blues albums on Antone’s Records, including my favorite, Lou Ann Barton’s “Read My Lips,” with Jimmie Vaughan in 1989.”
About Sarah Barlow: Sarah Barlow is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Austin, Texas. Her work honors traditions of the past, bridging the genres of country, blues, soul and rock. At age 17, Sarah mentored with Antone’s club founder Clifford Antone, who managed her early music career in the blues. She has shared the stage with legends—Miss Lavelle White, Lou Ann Barton, Derek O’Brien, Gary Clark, Jr., Nick Curran, Pinetop Perkins and more. Sarah currently tours with artist Matt Adams (The Blank Tapes) performing Sarah Barlow and The Blank Tapes material. She is also owner of Stardust Superfoods and Juice, and founder of Yoga For Musicians.
