The premiere of “Bang! It’s David Starbuckle: The Movie” at AFS Cinema, Sept. 26
Austin-based astro-traveling pleasure junkie, David Starbuckle, announces the forthcoming premier of his stellar debut rock album and accompanying film, “Bang! It’s David Starbuckle: The Movie,” on Thursday, Sept. 26, at AFS Cinema (located at 6259 Middle Fiskville Rd, Austin, TX 78752). The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a reception in the lobby of AFS prior to the film screening where there will be a red carpet and concessions for premiere goers to enjoy. The movie will be screened at 7 p.m. in the theater, and will be followed by a Q&A with the film's producers hosted by Austin-based musician and “How Did I Get Here?” podcast host Johnny Goudie. The festivities will conclude at 9 p.m. Viewers can expect a farcical vaudevillian variety show meets visual album featuring individual music videos for each song on Starbuckle’s debut album, each made by different local Texan filmmakers. Starbuckle’s album will then be released the following day, Friday, Sept. 27, on all streaming platforms.
