Organizing Your Digital Photographs


Another new year, another new leaf, another year of being organized! Come to the Avalon History Center to learn about organizing your digital photographs where participants will learn about the various ways to save and organize your digital photographs. Lecture will include a small introduction about digital photograph formats, best practices for organizing photographs, digital storage platforms, and conclude with a brief overview of digital curation (long-term digital preservation). Participants will receive an informative handout that will include information discussed during the lecture as well as a list of additional resources. Registration is required. Avalon property owners may register beginning January 13 at 9:30 AM either online through the registration link on the web calendar’s event page or by calling the History Center at 609-967-0090. All others may register beginning January 27.
