Plant Problems? 'Ask a Master Gardener' at the OCL Stafford Branch


STAFFORD TOWNSHIP – All ready for spring planting? Set up your garden with free help from trained professionals. “Ask a Rutgers Master Gardener” at the Ocean County Library Stafford Branch, beginning at 10 AM Monday, March 10. Rutgers Master Gardeners of Ocean County will be available from 10 AM until 12 noon every second and fourth Monday of each month through November 10, excluding Memorial Day. Diagnostic clinics will take place March 10, March 24, April 14, April 28, May 12, May 19, June 9, June 23, July 14, July 28, August 11, August 25, September 8, September 22, October 13, October 27 and November 10. They’re ready to answer any and all questions to help you create a healthy, robust garden. Bring photos or specimens of insects, plants, shrubs and trees for identification, diagnosis and recommendations. Rutgers Master Gardeners are trained, certified volunteers who help Rutgers Cooperative Extension staffers in providing research-based information on sustainable horticultural practices to Ocean County residents.
