Joseph Pilates Mat-Style classes are designed with modifications offered to aid in strengthening the pelvic floor in order to relieve the “overuse” of our back muscles. This develops strength, stability, and balance in our body movements, offering the ability to move and perform day to day tasks with less risk of injury.
Please bring a mat and a bottle of water.
Sharon Gibboney is a local instructor of many styles of yoga including therapeutic, flow, vinyasa, and restorative, as well as Pilates. She has taught at various locations including the Ocean City Community Center.
