Open Mic Poetry Night
The Atlantic City Free Public Library invites people of all ages to express themselves through poetry at an Open Mic Night! It will be held Thursday, April 30, at 5 p.m. at the Main Library.
Submitted poems will be published in a chapter book available for checkout at the library.
Listed are guidelines for those who wish to read their poetry at the Open Mic Night.
- The deadline to submit poems is Saturday, April 25.
- Each person can submit a maximum of three poems.
- Poems must be original and unpublished, either in print or online.
- Submissions must be suitable for general audiences.
- All submissions must be typed.
- Submissions can be turned in at the library or mailed to Atlantic City Free Public Library, ATT: Poetry Contest, 1 North Tennessee Ave., Atlantic City, NJ 08401. Also, submissions can be submitted online through the library's Programs page at acfpl.org.
