It is the night our community gathers to ensure that every neurodiverse child in our care has the resources, the environment, and the belief they need to change the world.
Party FORE a Purpose is the high-energy kickoff gala for the Cumberland Classic weekend. We’ve reinvented the traditional fundraiser by blending the elegance of a formal gala with the vibrant, inclusive energy of a modern social event. Set against the backdrop of Topgolf Alpharetta, this evening is designed for everyone—whether you’re a scratch golfer, a social butterfly, or someone who simply wants to make a difference in the lives of children.
The Story Behind the Event: Why We Are Here
At Cumberland Academy, we serve students with high-functioning Autism, ADHD, and other learning differences. Many of our students arrived at our doors after years of struggling in environments where they were misunderstood or underserved. In those settings, they often heard what they couldn’t do.
At Cumberland, we focus on what they can do.
We provide a safe, structured, and supportive "home away from home" where social skills are taught as intentionally as mathematics. Our mission is to prepare these bright, capable young people for the challenges of adulthood, and the results speak for themselves: a 100% college acceptance rate. However, providing this level of specialized, small-classroom education requires significant resources. Party FORE a Purpose is our primary engine for raising the funds that keep our tuition accessible, our technology cutting-edge, and our specialized programs running at full capacity. When you buy a ticket, you aren't just paying for dinner; you are investing in a student’s future independence.

The Atmosphere: From the moment the doors open at 6:30 PM, you’ll be greeted by a live DJ setting a high-energy tone for the night. The vibe is sophisticated yet approachable—perfect for networking with Atlanta’s community leaders or enjoying a night out with friends.
The Dining: We believe a gala should be a culinary experience. Guests will enjoy a premier seated sit-down dinner, expertly prepared and served to your table.
The Open Bar: Your ticket includes access to a full open bar throughout the evening, featuring premium spirits, wine, and beer.
The Play: Whether you want to show off your swing or you’ve never picked up a club in your life, our climate-controlled Topgolf bays are open for interactive play. It’s the perfect, low-pressure way to engage with other guests while supporting a great cause.
The Auctions: Our silent and live auctions are legendary. We feature exclusive items ranging from luxury travel packages and rare sports memorabilia to local Atlanta "staycation" experiences and unique student-made art. The bidding is fast-paced, fun, and entirely for the benefit of our school.
