Debut Singing of The Sacred Harp: 2025 Edition

Join with hundreds of singers from around the country as the United Sacred Harp Musical Association returns to Atlanta for a once-in-a-generation event: the launch of a new edition of the beloved Sacred Harp tunebook. First published in Georgia in 1844, this shape-note tunebook has played a vital role in Georgia’s cultural and religious life for generations. The 120th United Convention will feature rousing participatory four-part harmony singing. Visitors are not required to sing, but all, including those who have never sung before, are welcome to join in. This is a free event, everyone is welcome.
