Hike for Haiti Atlanta
In the rural community of Marre à Coiffe, Haiti, students climb a mountain the equivalent of 200 flights of stairs — roughly 10.5 miles — to access clean water, healthcare, and education. Inspired by these students, Hike for Haiti was born. This annual fundraising campaign takes place during April and May and unites the global community to hike or walk in solidarity with the children of Marre à Coiffe to raise funds for education and healthcare. Since its inception in 2019, this feel-good movement has raised over $800,000 from participants around the world to support Hope for Haiti’s programs in south Haiti.
Our supporters will join us for an in-person 5K (at your own pace) hike (walk, run, bike, or skate) in Atlanta. Registration starts at 10:00 AM at New Realm Brewery. We will hike together then regroup back at the brewery for a celebratory drink and toast!
