Modern Calligraphy for Beginners at Mimms Museum
Join us at Mimms Museum of Technology and Art for an interactive workshop that teaches you the fundamentals of modern calligraphy! During the workshop, all the basics will be covered and by the time you leave class you’ll have all the tips and techniques to create an elegant, eye-catching work of art. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your strokes, this workshop provides the perfect environment to develop your skills.
No experience needed and all materials are provided. Grab some friends and join us for a fun, relaxing afternoon learning the art of calligraphy.
Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper, and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop!
