Garden Dinner Series


Hosted on select Sunday evenings through October, the dinners invite guests to dine al fresco among the rows of Milton's Acre, the onsite garden at the Crabapple restaurant. Executive chef AJ Jones and her culinary team will showcase the freshest seasonal ingredients--many harvested directly from the garden--to craft a rotating menu of inspired Southern cuisine. Each four-course dinner highlights the bounty of spring, summer and fall, pairing heirloom fruits, vegetables and herbs with expertly selected meats and seafood. Each evening begins at 5 p.m. with a welcome reception featuring passed hors d'oeuvres, libations and a guided garden tour. Guests then enjoy a family-style, open-air dinner with wine pairings, accompanied by live cello music. Menus are designed just weeks before each event based on peak seasonal availability. Past dinners have featured dishes such as squash blossoms stuffed with prosciutto and cream cheese, pimiento cheese and crawfish, and roast duckling with fingerling sweet potatoes, oyster mushrooms, heirloom snap beans and candied pecan apple butter. This year's dates include: · May 4 · May 18 · June 1 · Oct. 5 · Oct. 12 · Oct. 19 Tickets to the Garden Dinner Series are $165 each (including wine, tax and gratuity) and may be purchased online in advance.
