Set in a tiny sewing factory in East L.A., "Real Women Have Curves" is a heartfelt and humorous coming-of-age story about five Latina women navigating life, work, and womanhood. As they stitch garments under a looming deadline, they share dreams, secrets, and struggles - challenging beauty standards, embracing their bodies, and finding strength in sisterhood.
Told through the eyes of Ana, an 18-year-old with college dreams, the play celebrates resilience, culture, and the power of women lifting each other up. With sharp wit and unapologetic honesty, this production reminds us that every body is beautiful, and every voice matters.
