About Piper and the Hard Times
Piper & the Hard Times is a Nashville-based blues-roots powerhouse delivering high-energy, groove-driven music infused with R&B, soul, and rock. Led by Al “Piper” Green and anchored by longtime collaborators Steve Eagon and Dave Colella, the band blends deep blues tradition with improvisational fire, tight musicianship, and instantly memorable hooks. Recorded live over three days at the legendary Ronnie’s Place at Soundstage Studios, their album Revelation showcases 12 original songs ranging from New Orleans–flavored grooves and Texas shuffles to funk-rock burners and slow-burning blues. Winners of the Band Division at the 2024 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Piper & the Hard Times continues to earn their reputation as one of America’s premier modern blues-roots acts.
About Rod Hamdallah
Hamdallah has been tearing up Atlanta's vibrant music scene since before he was old enough to order his first drink. At 16, Rod began soaking up the Southern Delta Blues and Garage Rock sounds at a relentless pace; Influenced by early Punk, 50’s and 60’s R&B and Garage Rock, Rod took his sound to another level.
