Kiss My Grits! is an international fringe and variety arts festival filled to the brim with top burlesque and variety acts, classes, and more! Performers from all over the map will be shimmyin' and shakin' like their britches are on fire, and sharing their best with YOU! VIPs will be sitting so close they'll get a special lesson on the scandalous history of the g-string – consider it an education, bless your heart! SHOW SCHEDULE: • 4/24: Newfangled Nerds Nerdlesque Show: A mind-bending burlesque fusion of pop culture, burlesque, and vaudeville! This show is a celebration of all things geeky, sexy, silly, and probably bizarre. Expect to see familiar characters reimagined and stripped away in the most unexpected ways, from superheroes to villains, from anime icons to video game legends! So grab your favorite cosplay, let loose, and join us for a night of laughter, lust, and geekery. • 4/25: Honey & Hominy BIPOC Burlesque Showcase: The Honey & Hominy Burlesque Showcase celebrates and amplifies Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) in this genre-bending show overflowing with talented entertainers, creativity, and skill! These are performers who deliver noteworthy performances that signal innovation and talent! It'll be a fantastic night of unforgettable moments! • 4/26: Hot As Blazes! Showcase & Competition: A bit of sizzle, a touch of smoke, and perhaps a dash of scandal! Who will win The Hot As Blazes Showcase & Competition! These babes are gonna be hotter than a Georgia summer! We're talking performances that'll make your heart thump faster than a possum in a peanut butter jar. • 4/27: (Put Your) Nose to The Rhinestone Peer Review: Featuring live performances in front of a panel of burlesque pros in their cute soft pants (and maybe pajamas) who provide constructive suggestions and feedback based on each performer's goals. The show is to help each burlesque performer put their "nose to the rhinestone" to further develop as artists and find glittering success!
