Brazilian pianist and composer Heloísa Fernandes paints her musical pictures with contrasts— driving rhythm and delicacy, joyous dance, quiet introspection, playfulness, and elegance. With this vast artistic vocabulary, Fernandes reveals a Brazil largely unknown even to Brazilians.
