Delaware Valley Music Club Holiday Concert
Named for the Erinys (a.k.a. the Furies) from the Greek tragedy, Orestia by Aeschylus, and with roots in Estonia, Lithuania, Greece, the United States, and Finland, the Erinys Quartet was founded in 2018 at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland.
In the 2024-25 season, the award-winning Erinys Quartet is performing throughout Europe and the United States. Their holiday concert in Solebury will feature Beethoven's String Quartet No. 6 in B-flat major, Béla Bartók's String Quartet No. 3, Anton Weberm's Langsamer Satz, and Leoš Janáček's String Quartet No. 2 ("Intimate Letters").
