The Secret in the Wings presented by Solebury Theatre Collective
What do we hope to learn from fairy tales? The play brings together a group of lesser-known fairy tales to create a unique story filled with mystery and humor.
The play begins with a babysitter reading a book of fairy tales to a young child. The characters in each tale materialize on stage. Just as each story reaches its bleakest moment, it breaks off and the next begins. Zimmerman’s unique ensemble-based storytelling really shines through this production. It brings our students together to showcase the power of imagination and that to love and be loved is the greatest gift.
Performances will take place May 9-11, 2025, in Solebury School’s Barn Theater in New Hope, PA. The production runs 90 minutes, with both matinee and evening performances available. Tickets can be purchased through Solebury School’s website.
