On Friday, September 27, join us for an exciting partnership with Maurene Cooper of Vanity Tintype! At 6:30 PM, Maurene will discuss her techniques and processes that utilize the historic medium of tintype photography to honor the diversity of the world we live in.
Poised at the intersection of both fine and commercial arts, Maurene has made a successful business as a tintype expert working primarily out of Philadelphia and surrounding neighborhoods. She focuses on portraiture as a cool for galvanizing community.
While you’re enjoying the evening, be sure to check out the Sigal Museum’s Decorative Arts Gallery, which features a collection of early 20th century tintypes by Easton photographer Norma Collmar.
