As part of this milestone celebration, we are creating a time capsule to be opened in the year 2146, and we invite attendees to contribute a meaningful item that captures life today.
Time Capsule Contribution Guidelines
Items must be two-dimensional (2D)
Maximum size: 10 x 17 inches
Items should be suitable for long-term preservation
How It Works
Bring your item to the museum during the event
Our curators will complete the required donation paperwork
Contributors will have the special opportunity to place their item into the time capsule themselves
Looking for inspiration?
Suggested items include:
A handwritten or typed letter to the future
Photographs of family, friends, or community life
A childโs drawing
A poem, story, or personal reflection
Newspaper clippings, programs, or event flyers
Artwork or documents that reflect life in Northampton County today
