On January 16, 17, & 18, a legendary tradition returns to Shankweiler's Drive-In Theatre! John Carpenter's sub-zero shocker, THE THING, will be presented as a double feature with Stanley Kubrick's equally chilling masterpiece, THE SHINING! All year long, stories of this event are told and retold under hushed voices in theater lobbies and drive-in lots across the region. Get ready to snuggle up and settle in for one of the most immersive and terrifying big screen experiences that you can only get at our wintertime drive-in! Seeing these two chilling classics brought to larger-than-life on our massive outdoor screen is unparalleled, and we're happy to keep the experience alive for our FOURTH annual seasonal screening!
