1000 U.S. Flags For Unity - Allentown West Rotary Club - Opening Ceremony
The Allentown West Rotary Club is honored to present Flags for Unity. this 5-day event will start on May 22 with the presentation of hundreds of flags at Parkland High School mounted on 8-foot poles and displayed in a grid pattern. This moving tribute is to honor the men and women in the military, veterans, first responders, and others to promote the unity of service, while honoring those who have given their last measure of service to the nation. The Flags for Unity event will conclude on May 26 at Parkland High School with a moving Memorial Day tribute to those lost while doing the nation's service.
The entire display will be monitored by local authorities for the full five days, so that remembrances can be made any time during the day or night.
