MCCC Presidential Symposium on Diversity Keynote Address and Book Discussion Event

Dr. Omekongo Dibinga

Join Montgomery County Community College for the 2026 Presidential Symposium, "Lead with Unity, Act with Purpose."

This annual symposium is a multi-day capstone event that advances and facilitates ongoing public dialogue on diversity and inclusiveness among students, employees and the community. During the event, participants will hear from the distinguished keynote speaker and many others.

This year's keynote speaker is Dr. Omekongo Dibinga. As a transformative inclusion expert, Dr. Dibinga will focus his keynote address on culture, unity and education, and creating communities that are celebrated and not tolerated. His speech will highlight the importance of treating people with decency and having the core value of respect for each other. Join us for an invigorating keynote to kick off the 2026 Presidential Symposium.

Then join Dr. Dibinga later in the day as he engages in a moderated discussion around his book "Grow Towards Your Greatness," and gives the audience a sneak peek into his upcoming book, "Trigger Words."
