Keystone Villa at Douglassville invites the public to our monthly dementia education and support group, bringing family caregivers together in a safe, compassionate space to share experiences, gain helpful insights and resources, and find moments of joy.
The group meets on the first Thursday of every month at the Personal Care building, 1152 Ben Franklin Highway E. Attendance is free.
Join us on Thursday, April 2, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. for “Getting to the Heart of the GEMS: An Introduction to Teepa Snow’s GEMS States Model.” Presented by Jennelle Jamison, resident care director and certified trainer and coach in Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care (PAC) dementia care philosophy.
The GEMS States Model is a compassionate approach that helps caregivers understand brain changes. Jennelle will provide practical tools to foster meaningful connections, build confidence and patience, and explore strategies for supporting individuals living with dementia while preserving dignity, respect, and heartfelt connection.
Limited seating; please RSVP to 610-385-5002.
