Dr. Alyson Brokaw's fascination with bats began when she and her mom Pat would count the bats at their Frenchtown-area church. She got her biology doctorate at Texas A&M University and now is a Sensory Ecologist, Bat Biologist, and Science Communicator on the faculty of Lehigh University.
"The Weird and Wonderful World of Bats" demystifies these often-misunderstood creatures, with 180 photographs and engaging explanations of how bats experience the world and how they co-exist with humans.
Free and all are welcome. Join us after the talk for a celebratory glass of Prosecco.
