Earth Day Celebration
Join the Palmer Township Environmental Steering Committee for its Earth Day celebration on April 18 at Fairview Park in Easton, Pennsylvania. The event brings the community together to celebrate the environment, promote sustainability, and encourage local action. The day begins with a 2-mile community walk at 8:30 a.m., offering participants a chance to enjoy the outdoors, connect with neighbors, and kick off Earth Day in an active and meaningful way.
Following the walk, the main Earth Day celebration will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature a variety of interactive information tables, educational exhibits, and activities focused on environmental awareness and sustainable living practices. Local organizations will be present to share resources, answer questions, and highlight ways residents can reduce their environmental impact at home and in the community.
This family-friendly event is designed for all ages and encourages participation, learning, and community engagement. Attendees are invited to explore, ask questions, and discover simple actions that support a healthier environment.
