Albright College Choirs Present: Reinaissance Reimagined
Join Albright College's Choral Ensembles for an evening of a cappella choral music: Renaissance madrigals & motets, music from the Harlem Renaissance, and pieces that redefine what a musical Renaissance can be. Under the direction of Jimmy Damore and Jeffrey Lentz, this concert in Merner-Pfeiffer-Klein Memorial Chapel on the campus of Albright College will feature such titles as William Byrd's "Ave Verum Corpus," Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina's "Sicut Cervus," and pieces by contemporary composers Rosephayne Powell and Robert Harris. Admission is free; donations welcome.
