Plumstead Township Memorial Day Observance
The Plumstead Township Veterans Committee will conduct its annual Memorial Day Observance on Saturday, May 23 , 2026 at 9:00AM at the Veterans Park The Park is located at 5775 Easton Rd (Rt 611) – [in front of Plumstead Christian School], Arranged around the ribbon-shaped park are Memorial Boards and pictorial histories of our military branches.
Following the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance, National Anthem, lowering of the U.S. Flag to half-staff and sounding of TAPS, Committee members will honor the memory of Plumstead Veterans (World War II through The War on Terrorism) who gave all.
Memorial Day honors the memory of our military who gave all in service to our Country. The Flag is raised to full staff and then lowered to half-staff until noon. The flag is then raised to full-staff again.
Veterans Day honors all who have served in our Country’s military and the flag is not lowered to half staff.
Doylestown’s 158th Memorial Day Parade and Observance will take place on Monday, May 25, 2026.
