It will be offered on Friday, April 18 from 10 a.m. -2 p.m. at Northampton Community College's East 40 - the 40+ acres on the east side of the Bethlehem campus, 3835 Green Pond Rd. (a map is available at ncceast40.org/maps).
The program will be presented by Reset Outdoors, a Bethlehem-based organization that works to connect people with the healing power of nature.
Narrative medicine practices will be shared, to help participants engage with their sense of resilience. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of their own self-care needs while connecting authentically with peers as a means of cultivating individual and collective resilience.
The workshop is part of NCC's 2024-2025 Annual Humanities Program, Stories That Shape Us: Turn the Page, Connect, Engage!, which includes a mindfully orchestrated lineup of events dedicated to the exploration of cultural narratives that shape the understanding of the world.
