Carbon County History Fair
LAHA is hosting a NEW Carbon County History Fair at the Carbon Plaza Mall, Lehighton on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
This is an opportunity for our area historical societies and local historians to join together to share our area’s rich history with the general public, celebrate America 250, and recognize the 182nd anniversary of the founding of Carbon County. We hope to make this an annual early spring event to keep our history alive in our communities.
Societies and individuals will have photos, artifacts, and local memorabilia on display in the corridor of the mall. There will also be historical craft demonstrations. There is no cost to the public to attend the event.
We still welcome more Carbon County organizations and individuals who would like to set up a table to display historical items. Nonprofit organizations are welcome to share membership information and fundraisers, but no retail merchandise is permitted. Please contact [email protected] to participate.
