The 8th House is proud to feature Barbara Elrica Cloud, a talented local artist whose fluid acrylic paintings pulse with the vibrant energy of her Caribbean roots. Throughout the entire month of August, visitors can explore Barbara’s bold, abstract artworks on display—each piece reflecting her unique style inspired by her upbringing in St. Lucia and St. Croix.
Celebrate with us at a special opening reception on Friday, August 8th, from 5 to 7 PM at The 8th House, located at 5100 Grand Ave NE, Albuquerque. This event offers a perfect chance to meet Barbara, enjoy light refreshments, and dive deeper into the stories behind her dynamic paintings.
Whether you’re a dedicated art lover, a collector, or simply curious, this month-long exhibition and evening event invite you to experience the joyful, spontaneous spirit of ELRICA ART.
The exhibit runs through August during regular store hours: Fridays and Saturdays from 10 AM to 5 PM, and Sundays from 10 AM to 3 PM.
Admission is free and open to all.
