Birds of Prey
President and Raptor Specialist Laura McCann has done over 300 live bird presentations throughout New Mexico. She has housed and trained hawks, owls, falcons, corvids and vultures. Raptors of New Mexico Foundation (RNMF) houses educational birds, helps with wild bird rescue, and does programs at State Parks, National Wildlife Refuges, Public Schools, Public Libraries and other venues. At this presentation you will meet three live birds-of-prey and learn about the importance of raptors in our ecosystems and what humans can do to help conserve these wild neighbors!
