Guided Hike of Rinconada Canyon
Rinconada Canyon is a sandy trail that is 2.2 miles roundtrip with 300 petroglyphs visible from the trail. This guided tour will talk about the history, geology, and wildlife of the area. There is no shade along the way. Restrooms are available in the parking lot. There is no water available. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable, sturdy walking/hiking boots with good ankle support. Bring more water than you think you'll need. Wear sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. Binoculars are helpful. Inquire at your local library about borrowing a birding kit.
