Veterans of Valencia County Exhibit and Art Show

The annual Veterans of Valencia County exhibit features individuals who served in the armed forces from different eras, many of whom were born and raised in Valencia County. The exhibit contains stories of courage under fire, gallantry, service, and honor. There are donated and loaned artifacts from many families in the display. New this year, the VFW Post 9678 and Valencia Art Center are hosting their first Veterans Art Exhibit and Sale. This art show is open to all artists, both youth and adults, living in Valencia County. The theme is "Welcome Home: A Patriotic Tribute to Our Nation's Veterans." If you are interested in being part of this art display, packets and sign-up sheets are available at the Los Lunas Museum. The last day for entries is October 17. There is no cost to submit. Opening reception Tuesday, November 11 from 3-5 PM. The Los Lunas Museum is open Tuesday-Saturday 10 AM - 5 PM.
