Paint with Crayons! A Fall Encaustic Workshop.
Pick your session: Saturday, November 22 from 10 AM - 12 PM or 2 PM - 4PM
Join local artist Mikaela Guggino on a FREE adventure in molten wax. Create a fall-themed artwork using crayons and a special tool, the encaustic stylus pro. This class is intended for students of all levels – if you are looking to explore a new medium or perfect your encaustic practice, please join us! This class is for ages 13+ and is not recommended for younger children. Additionally, hot wax can aggravate those with sensitive lungs. A fan will be going in the background to promote ventilation, and masks will be offered to attendees.
All materials will be provided. This is a free event thanks to the generous support and sponsorship of the Friends of the Los Lunas Public Library & Museum. Reservations are required as space is very limited. Please call the Los Lunas Museum at (505) 352-7720 to reserve your spot. The Los Lunas Museum's hours are 10AM-5PM Tuesday through Saturday.
