Chile rista-making workshop
A chile rista-making workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the Los Lunas Agricultural Science Center, 1036 Miller Road, Los Lunas. Enjoy a hands-on workshop to learn the art of creating a New Mexico favorite that can be used for decoration or culinary exploration, the red chile ristra.
If you want to be a part of the preparation process, help harvest the red chile for this workshop from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 7.
The workshop is free to participate, but you must be registered. Call the Valencia County CES Office to register at 505-565-3002.
