Sandia Soundscapes presents Celloquacious plus Meridian Alpha
The inaugural Sandia Soundscapes event features Celloquacious (Keely Mackey-Gonzales on processed cello) and Meridian Alpha (Jim Coker on synthesizers in quadraphonic sound). Tickets are just $15 in advance and $20 at the door; there is free parking plus a bar.
Sandia Soundscapes is a new concert series for ambient, cinematic, and other related forms of electronic and electro-acoustic music that will stimulate both your mind and your soul. Our focus at these intimate events is on deepening the connection between the audience and performers, including sharing how this music is created. Each artist will be interviewed before they perform, and video cameras + monitors will give everyone a closeup view of how they create their music in real time.
