Join the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation on Giving Tuesday, December 3, for “Chestwood: 150 Years of History & Preservation”, a virtual program celebrating the 150th anniversary of the historic Second Empire residence at 432 Grand Avenue. Featuring local historian Carol Godette and homeowners Kristi Krulcik and Marco Anichini, the event will highlight the home's architectural features, stories of past residents, and the couple's inspiring preservation journey. Kristi and Marco are thrilled to welcome Carol Snyder Valdez, the youngest of the seven Snyder siblings, as a guest presenter. Carol will share her family’s cherished memories of living at Chestwood and recount their 1996 restoration of its exterior. Collaborating with her siblings, Carol will provide a glimpse into the Snyder family’s stewardship of this historic treasure. Giving Tuesday, the Global Day of Philanthropy following Thanksgiving, is an opportunity to connect, support, and invest in our communities. This virtual program will take place via Zoom for a suggested donation of $10 or more. To register, visit www.saratogapreservation.org or call (518) 587-5030. Everyone who pre-registers for this program will be emailed a Zoom link in advance and will receive a link to the recording.
