The Friends of Peebles Island State Park is hosting a program entitled "Who Were the Peebles?" at the Peebles Island Visitor Center, Delaware Avenue Cohoes, at 6:30pm on Wednesday, March 26. Learn about the history of Brookwood Manor, which is located on Rtes 4 & 32 along the Hudson River, and was built in 1763 by Thomas and Elizabeth Bradt Peebles. Thea Hotaling, current owner of the Manor and a hobbyist historian, will share the history of the Peebles family and their Halfmoon home. This progr4am is free and open to the public and presented in partnership with Shenendehowa Neighbors Connecting. No registration required.
