The Albany Area Amateur Astronomers will be hosting the following star parties in 2026 at Landis Arboretum:
Saturday, March 21: 8-10PM
Saturday, April 18: 8:30-10:30PM
Saturday, May 16: 9-11PM
Saturday, June 13: 9:30-11:30PM
Saturday, July 11: 9:30-11:30PM
Saturday, August 8: 9-11PM
Thursday, August 20, club meeting starting at 7:30PM, Star Party following if the skies cooperate
Saturday, Sept 12: 8-10PM
Star parties are cancelled if the skies will be mostly cloudy.
Come view the stars and planets in Landis' dark skies with members of the Albany Area Amateur Astronomers. A variety of telescopes will be set up for viewing the heavens, revealing nebulae, star clusters, galaxies, double stars, planets, and other celestial objects. Visit our website at landisarboretum.org for more information and to register to be notified if it will be too cloudy to star gaze.
