TRASH PARADE!
The first annual trash parade is a creative community event aimed at repurposing recyclable materials and other waste products into puppets, costumes, masks, and banners based on the theme is "water", to march in a procession in downtown Schenectady.
This is a community effort and is open to all to create and march!
The procession will begin and finish at J Square in downtown Schenectady.
Some imagery that could be used with the theme of "WATER":
-Fish of all kinds
-Insects that live in and around streams, rivers, ponds
-Turtles and frogs and other amphibians
-Birds and water fowl
-Waves, ripples, water moving
-Boats of all kinds
-plastic and other garbage that pollutes our water
-toxic waste
-mythological creatures
-much more
