In a welcoming and safe environment, we will review why strength training is essential to age well and what to look for in a good program, whether an online program you follow at home, at a gym, or with a personal trainer. When you leave, you will understand what is involved in making this lifestyle change and how to take the next steps. We will do a group foam roll and warm up together, so wear comfortable clothes.
We believe strength training can improve your life! We aren't pushing any particular program, but we are sharing what we have learned over decades of experience.
Karen Totino, age 50, is a Certified Functional Strength Coach, Precision Nutrition Level 1 Nutrition Coach, PN Sleep, Stress Management, and Recovery Coach, and Administrator of Second Half Sisterhood.
April Park, age 52, is a Certified Functional Strength Coach and Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach.
