This is a friendly space for adults who've never performed for an audience before. But don't be scared off if you do have experience. It’s also helpful for those who have ongoing issues with stage fright.
Plan for discussion, light movement exercises, and performance practice activities all in a supportive environment. Feel free to bring your musical instrument!
Instructor Heather E. Schwartz has been managing stage fright since she played Betsy Ross in a kindergarten celebration of the U.S. Bicentennial. More recently, she appeared on E! Entertainment’s True Hollywood Story and performed her solo show Heather’s Junk Drawer at NYC’s Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. She sings with the Dave Kitchen Quintet and is a former member of The Mopco Improv Theatre’s mainstage company.
