Bringing together film, conversation, and a taste of Sicily, the evening is rooted in a shared appreciation for food as culture, memory, and ritual—designed to feel both transportive and intimate.
The program begins with a welcome reception featuring Sicilian wine, followed by a screening of AMARO: The Bitter Taste of Sicily, a documentary exploring the deep ties between land, tradition, and identity.
Following the film, Fabrizia Lanza will be joined by Odette Williams for a live conversation reflecting on Sicilian foodways, the meaning of home cooking, and the role of tradition in contemporary life.
The evening concludes with a reception featuring Sicilian cheeses and accompaniments curated by Talbott & Arding, along with a book signing. Seats are limited.
