Grief Experience Book Celebrates 2 Year Anniversary

Celebrating 2 Years of The Grief Experience

Two years ago, The Grief Experience: Tools for Acceptance, Resilience and Connection was released into the world—and since then, it has reached far beyond what we ever imagined.

This collaborative book, created with 25 authors, has become an Amazon Best Seller, a 2024 International Book Awards Winner, and the recipient of the 2025 Coalition of Visionary Resources Award in Grief. More importantly, it has helped normalize grief, validate lived experiences, and offer practical tools to thousands of readers.

We’re especially proud of the local impact. Eleven of the 25 authors are from the Saratoga region, and together they have presented to hundreds of grieving individuals through workshops, community events, support groups, and trainings since the book’s release.

To mark this milestone, seven local authors will gather for a free community event at the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Library on Sunday, February 8, from 1–3 PM. The event will include author reflections, conversation, Q&A, and book signing, along with information about local grief resources.

This book was created so that anyone who is grieving could open it and feel less alone—finding at least one story that resonates and tools that meet them where they are. We would love to celebrate this journey with you.
