Amy Ryan Band
In the beginning, there was the blues, before jazz, before rock and roll. For the winter season the Friends, in partnership with the Capital Region Blues Network, have invited the blues group Amy Ryan Band to perform at the Library on December 11.
Formed in 2014, the band quickly established a strong following on the Capital Region music scene with its combination of soulful originals and covers that range from straight up blues to funk, soul and blues rock. All the band members are from the area: Amy Ryan, lead vocals and guitar; Richard Green, guitar and vocals; Ed Stein, keyboards; Ralph Bowman, bass; and Mark McKay, drums.
Like all programs and services at the Library, the concert will be free and all are welcome
