Color Outside with Brown School 5K Color Run
Brown School in Schenectady is hosting the Color Outside with Brown School 5K Color Run, a fun, vibrant 5-kilometer race in Central Park in Schenectady. Registration begins at 9:00am. At 10:00am, an 800-meter fun run for children will take place, followed by the 5K beginning at 10:30am.
This family-friendly event is open to students, parents, faculty, alumni, and our local community and offers a perfect mix of fitness, color-splash fun, and spring celebration. Participants are welcome to run or walk the course, and walkers, strollers, and leashed dogs are welcome to join in the fun.
Along the course, volunteers will toss colored chalk powder into the air as runners pass through designated color zones. The powder is non-toxic, environmentally safe, and washable, but be prepared because runners will get colorful!
