The Ballston Spa House & Garden Club is pleased to be hosting Kate Brittenham as presenter at our June 11th meeting. Kate is an ecological landscape designer and owner of Front Stoop Gardens. She will discuss the concept of “going native” in our gardens and explain why it requires us to understand more about what we are planting. During this free educational program, we will discuss non-native plants – including some old garden favorites – and what native plants we can use to replace them. Kate will also focus on common garden and landscaping plants that are invasive. Please feel free to join us for refreshments between 12:30 and 1:00, followed by the program at 1 located at Brookside Museum, 21 Fairground Av., Ballston Spa.
