New York State's Climate Agenda: Progress and Paths Forward


Join the Government Law Center at Albany Law School for the second program of the 2025 Warren M. Anderson Legislative Series, moderated by Cinnamon P. Carlarne, 19th President and Dean at Albany Law School. Panelists will discuss New York State's progress toward meeting its climate targets and what's on the horizon for environmental and climate change law and policy. Panelists include: • Rory M. Christian — Chair and CEO of the New York State Public Service Commission • Jonathan Binder, Esq. — Deputy Commissioner for Climate Change, Air Resources, and Energy at the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation • Caitlin Stephen, Esq. — Bureau Chief for Climate, Air, and Energy in the Office of General Counsel at the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation • Michael Gerrard, Esq. — Founder and Faculty Director of the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law and Andrew Sabin Professor of Professional Practice at Columbia Law School The series is free of charge and open to the public, but registration is required. The Zoom webinar link will be shared after registration. Continuing legal education (CLE) professional practice credit is available for attorneys based in New York State who attend the full program.
