Luminary Walk at Grafton Lakes State Park
Grafton Lakes State Park will host its fifth annual Luminary Walk on Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 5pm to 8:30pm. The weather might be frightful, but up at Grafton, we will be enjoying the brisk air, good company, and a trail lit by luminary lanterns!
Come as a couple or bring the whole family. The self-led approximately 1⁄2-mile trail is perfect for a romantic stroll, mesmerizing the kids, or anything in between. Enjoy the sounds of the holidays, drink a cup of hot chocolate, and warm yourself by the fire. Dogs comfortable with crowds are welcome but must on a leash no longer than six feet in length. This enchanting experience is a wonderful way to celebrate the season with friends and family. Bundle up and enjoy a serene, festive night in nature!
$5 per person, ages 2 and under free. Cash only. No registration is required. This year, Hill Creek Tavern will be serving hot drinks!
Grafton Lakes State Park is located off Route 2, twelve miles east of Troy, New York. Please use the park’s main entrance on Grafton Lakes State Park Way (254 Grafton Lakes State Park Way, Grafton, NY 12082) and follow signs to the Welcome Center. There is no parking fee for this event.
